Sudoku Core Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the app in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age at which you can legally accept these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them on your behalf.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sudoku Core for personal, non-commercial use on compatible devices.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Intellectual Property

The app, including its code, design, content, trademarks, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Service Provider and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

4. App Features, Ads, and Purchases

Sudoku Core is offered as a free-to-play app with advertisements and an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads.

Ads may be shown through integrated ad services.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store and/or Google Play.
Optional platform game services features (such as leaderboards and achievements) may be provided through Google Play Games Services and Apple Game Center where available.
Pricing, taxes, billing, and refunds are handled according to the store platform terms.

If you download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable store terms. Where store rules require specific rights or remedies, those rules apply in addition to these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app. This includes, without limitation:

Using the app in violation of law or third-party rights.
Attempting to bypass security, abuse services, or disrupt functionality.
Using bots, scripts, or automation to interfere with normal operation.

Sudoku Core does not provide user-generated content features, accounts, or social posting capabilities at this time.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that have their own terms and policies:

The Service Provider is not responsible for third-party services, content, or network/carrier charges incurred while using the app.

7. Device and Connectivity

Certain features require internet access. You are responsible for your device, data charges, and maintaining compatible software and battery level. The app may not function correctly on rooted or jailbroken devices.

8. Updates, Suspension, and Termination

The Service Provider may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the app at any time. If you materially breach these Terms, access may be suspended or terminated. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends and you must stop using it.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence is not excluded.
Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation is not excluded.
Any liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from claims, losses, and expenses arising directly from your unlawful use of the app or breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, where the Service Provider is established, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. Disputes will be handled by courts with lawful jurisdiction in the Republic of Ireland.

13. Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any mandatory store terms, form the entire agreement between you and the Service Provider regarding use of the app.

16. No Waiver

If the Service Provider does not enforce a provision of these Terms immediately, that does not waive the right to enforce it later.

17. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from the Service Provider. The Service Provider may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

18. Force Majeure

The Service Provider is not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including internet outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, acts of government, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
